In addition to Underwriters Laboratories WET LOCATION listing, Millerbernd has designed and manufactured a number of Food Area, Corrosive Area and Underpass fixtures that are IP66 RATED including its standard ML-14, ML-24 and UP-23 fixtures.

The IP stands for ingress protection while the 66 means that a fixture is dust tight and protected against heavy seas and strong jets of water. Typically capable of withstanding hurricane force winds. The IP66 rating is comparable to the NEMA 4 and 4X.

Because of our experience in designing, engineering and fabricating of stainless fixtures fixtures which meet the IP66 rating, we can incoprorate this level of superior protection in your custom lighting project.

All Millerbernd Lighting fixtures are evaluated and tested by Underwriters Laboratories for each specific application. All of Millerbernd’s IP66 rated fixtures have been tested using high-efficiency components and energy saving electronic ballasts providing protection in even high ambient environments.

In addition, our engineers can effectively modify the electrical specifications in most of our
fixtures to complement nearly any wet or high temperature application.
